Den hyllade filmen “This is England” om ett gäng unga, brittiska arbetarklassungdomar fick en fortsättning i och med miniseriesviten “This is England ’86” och “This is England ’88”. I den avslutande delen har det gått ytterligare två år och som tidsandan råder är det rave och droger som gäller. Precis som föregångarna inleds sista serien med ett montage från eran, och varje avsnitt utspelar sig i en ny årstid.

Meanwhile, Woody and Lol nervously anticipate their wedding, but one of them is getting cold feet - before a medical emergency places the big day in jeopardy.
